HumanTechnics Advanced Certificate in Executive Coaching

Accredited at Postgraduate Masters Level by Bristol Business School and at Level 7 by the ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management), the HumanTechnics Advanced Certificate in Executive Coaching has become one of the most recognised and highly regarded professional qualifications for coaches working in organisations.

This programme is about enhancing your success as a coach, and the success of your coaching clients.

The programme involves 5-days of intensive and inspirational workshops and two coursework elements submitted directly to the University. The average programme duration is 3-months from first workshop day to coursework submission.

The ILM accreditation is actually an additional qualification in its own right called the "ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring". This is an optional award for participants and involves an additional piece of coursework in the form of a "Coaching Diary" covering at least 12 hours of coaching practice.

This dual accreditation from the University and the ILM (both at Postgraduate Master level) is unique to HumanTechnics.

The programme is designed for professional coaches, learning and development professionals looking to build coaching into their portfolio of expertise, and leaders looking to build very high level skills in influencing performance in others.

This programme is not an introductory course, however people with experience using similar skills and models are welcome, this includes people with a background in psychological therapies, or with a good grounding in people development, or people who have previously attended other coach training programmes.

It's always been our objective to deliver the most exceptional and effective professional development for Executive Coaches available. The graduates of our Coach training programme are the best advert we could ask for. Our programmes bring together a number of methodologies and approaches which we believe make a coach particularly effective.

The University Business School and ILM accreditation adds value to our graduates because it enables them to make a strong representation of their status as professional coaches.

The HumanTechnics Advanced Certificate in Executive Coaching programme covers the ICF's (International Coach Federation) core competencies and provides 'Coach Specific Training Hours' for those looking to gain the ICF professional coaching qualifications

International Coach Federation (ICF)

There are a number of organisations and associations that have sprung up and claim to represent the interests of Coaches and the Coaching industry. In our view the International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the best organisation for Coaches to be involved with.

The reasons are simple:

  • They are the most recognised Coaching organisation both in the UK and internationally and their Professional 'Credentials' are the most recognised professional Coaching qualification in the world.
  • The ICF is run by it's members, for it's members - with annual elections for all key positions - so are the most legitimate organisation around (most other organisations/associations are run by Coach Training providers for there own marketing purposes)
  • They have a large and growing membership, and a busy schedule of events that deliver real value to members.

The ICF has three levels of Professional 'Credential'

HumanTechnics Executive Coach Development Programmes contribute qualifying training hours for ICF accreditation. This is because our programmes meet the requirements set-out by ICF in terms of methodology, teaching of the ICF's Core Competencies and follow the ICF's code of ethics. As an organisation we are also working towards our full accreditation.

Our Advanced Certificate in Executive Coaching Programme contributes 38hrs towards the training required to reach the first level of ICF Certification (total of 60hrs required).

To support our customers who choose to go for the ICF accreditation, we offer a further 3-day module in addition to the Advanced Certificate - collectively covering the total training required for 'ICF Associate Certified Coach' status, or to support the training requirements for Coaches looking to move to 'Professional Certified Coach' or 'Master Certified Coach' status.

Our aim is to be the leading provider of Coach Training in terms of quality of training, whilst being a flexible and cost effective Professional Development route for Professional Executive Coaches.

There are a number of links at the side of this webpage where you can find additional information.
